How does Dermalux® work?

Dermalux® LED Phototherapy delivers skin-specific treatments using combinations of clinically proven Blue, Red, and Near Infrared wavelengths to boost collagen and elastin production, improve circulation, reduce redness and irritation, and blitz blemish-causing bacteria.

Does it hurt?

Absolutely not! Dermalux® is chemical-free and cannot harm the skin in any way. It has an excellent safety profile and is beneficial for all skin types. Enjoy 20 minutes of pure relaxation. Many clients drift off under the Dermalux® canopy, through a combination of our heated treatment beds, lavender room fragrance, and our complimentary hand massages.

Is there any downtime?

This treatment is noninvasive and clinically proven to be safe for all skin types, colours, and conditions, with no downtime or risk of side effects.

How many sessions will I need and how long will it last?

Beautiful skin is achievable for everybody with a Dermalux Power Plan®. With LED Phototherapy the results are cumulative and an intensive 8 -12 week programme of Dermalux® session is highly recommended for a dramatic improvement in the appearance and health of the skin. Results can last up to 3-6 months following the Power Plan®. Booster treatments are advised to maintain results.

What skin conditions can Dermalux® improve?

Environmentally damaged skin, Acne and problematic skin..Pigmentation..Rosacea & redness..Eczema..Psoriasis..Dermatitis..Wounds and scarring..Dull and lifeless skin..Bacne (Acne on the back)..Bruising and Inflammation after fillers. Dermalux® Blue light and its benefits?

Blemish fighting blue light targets bacteria in the sebaceous glands which causes spots. When bacteria absorb blue light it triggers a natural photochemical reaction releasing singlet oxygen. Singlet oxygen has a powerful antibacterial action to help eliminate spots whilst being gentle on the skin. With continued use, this clarifying effect can help in the prevention of breakouts.
